The recommended way of using WP Ultimate Recipe is to just create a recipe through the Recipes > Add New page and have that exist on its won. It’s also possible to insert recipes wherever you want using the recipe shortcode.
Adding recipes can be done using the little chef hat icon in the visual editor:
Which allows you to select and insert the recipe you want:
Clicking Insert Recipe will add this shortcode to your text: [ultimate-recipe id=x]
Which results in the following recipe being displayed where the shortcode was added:
Instructions
- Melt some butter and rub it on the toasts. Put them in an oven at 180°C until golden brown.
- Quarter the mushrooms and chop the shallot.
- Sauté the bacon strips together with the mushrooms and shallot.
- Add some salt and pepper finish with some finely chopped parsley.
