As recipes are actually custom post types (don’t worry if you never heard about them), WordPress automatically generates an archive page for them, which is basically a blog-like overview of your recipes.
By default you can find it at one of the following url’s (depending on your url structure):
In the recipes settings page you get to decide if you’d like to show the entire recipe or just the description on the archive page:
